NEC Infrontia Partners with Image Vault

NEC Infrontia, Inc., Partners with Image Vault to Create Interface Between NEC POS Data and Image Vault Digital Video

Image Vault®, a member of the FireKing Security Group of companies, today announced that NEC Infrontia, Inc., has entered into a strategic agreement with the company to develop a visual interface Between NEC POS Data and Image Vault Digital Video. This interface will allow Image Vault and NEC Infrontia’s numerous mutual customers in the retail and restaurant industries to view NEC point of sale (POS) equipment transaction data alongside Image Vault video. Customers will be able combine Image Vault remote view software with NEC Infrontia POS terminals to view POS transactions and video simultaneously.

The product combination offers retailers a secure, fast way to create over 200 forms of exception reports - including External Events (alarm contacts on doors), Data Events (voids, no sales, any text from the POS system), and Motion Events - from the data received from the NEC Infrontia POS terminals.
