Image Vault Announces Release of IV PRO-Command

Image Vault, a member company of the FireKing Security Group, today announced the availability of PRO-Command, a DVR-with-POS-interface solution that represents the next-generation in DVR retail applications. PRO-Command includes new software features capable of monitoring the amount of viewing-time to determine precisely when and how often specific employees and managers are using the PRO-Command DVR. This in turn requires store managers to review the video, and proactively seek out reports to identify potential problems. PRO-Command’s enhanced reporting capabilities make it easier for operators to “manage the managers.”

PRO-Command is the first retail DVR solution that is specifically designed to be administered at a senior operations management level that exists above and beyond LP, shrink and theft deterrence at an individual store. PRO-Command was successfully beta-tested in several locations at a one of North America's largest and most successful operators of convenience stores.

According to Van Carlisle, CEO of FireKing Security Group, the introduction of Image Vault PRO-Command “represents a paradigm shift for DVRs in the way they are used by the retail, c-store, and foodservice sectors; in addition to security and loss prevention, a DVR can now be deployed as a robust operations management tool.”

In addition to PRO-Command’s enhanced reporting capability, the product features include MPEG-4 Compression for enhanced image quality and smaller image file sizes, a frame rate increase ranging from 120 fps to a maximum of 480 fps, and increased video resolution (In addition to video resolutions of 320x240 and 640x480, PRO-Command will also offer 352x240 and 704x480 video resolution.)
