Image Vault PRO-Command

Image Vault PRO-Command is our top-of-the-line DVR technology. It replaces the former Image Vault PRO family. To help distinguish the newer technology, Image Vault has started its version numbering for PRO-Command at Version 9.0, thus picking up at the next logical level above where PRO left off (Version 8.7.1).

Playback Software

Playback software allows you to connect remotely to a compatible DVR to view live or stored video and data plus configure settings.

Image Vault PRO-COMMAND DEMO: To connect to our Image Vault PRO-Command "online demo" unit, open the PRO Command playback software while you are connected to the internet, make a new network entry for IP address 74.143.40.142, and log in with user name MANAGER and password MANAGER for manager level authority.

Version 9.3.0 Recorder Software Update

WARNING: ONLY INSTALL TO UPDATE A VERSION 9.0 OR HIGHER DVR. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO UPDATE ANY VERSION 8.x OR EARLIER DVR. THIS WILL CAUSE YOUR DVR TO FAIL.

If your PRO-Command DVR currently has Version 9.0 to 9.2.1 you may update your DVR to version 9.3.0 as follows:
   1. ZIP Download the Auto-Update patch file (1 MB) to your PC. Note: This patch must be installed before upgrading any PRO-Command 9.2.1 or earlier DVR.
   2. Connect via PRO-Command IVPlay and use the "Remote Update" feature to upload this zip file to your PRO-Command DVR (be sure to enable the auto-reboot). Alternate procedure: extract this zip and copy contents to a CD, insert the CD into your DVR and reboot your DVR.
   3. ZIP Download the recorder 9.3.0 update file (10 MB) to your PC.
   4. ZIP Download the recorder 9.3.1 update file (10 MB) to your PC.
   5. ZIP Download the skins (optional) update file (300 KB) to your PC.
   6. Connect via PRO-Command IVPlay and use the "Remote Update" feature to upload the 9.3.0 recorder zip file to your PRO-Command DVR (be sure to enable the auto-reboot). Alternate procedure: extract this zip and copy contents to a CD, insert the CD into your DVR and reboot your DVR.
   7. Connect via PRO-Command IVPlay and use the "Remote Update" feature to upload the 9.3.1 recorder zip file to your PRO-Command DVR (be sure to enable the auto-reboot). Alternate procedure: extract this zip and copy contents to a CD, insert the CD into your DVR and reboot your DVR.
   8. Connect via PRO-Command IVPlay and use the "Remote Update" feature to upload the skins zip file to your PRO-Command DVR (be sure to enable the auto-reboot). Alternate procedure: extract this zip and copy contents to a CD, insert the CD into your DVR and reboot your DVR.
   7. Download and install on your PC the Version 9.3.1 playback software (above) to fully support the new features when you connect remotely.

Image Vault PRO

The Image Vault PRO family of recorders (PRO, PRO-L, and EZ) are no longer available for purchase. The last version to ship was version 8.7.1.

Image Vault PRO Playback Software

Image Vault PRO and EZ products are a previous generation of Image Vault technology. The last revision of playback software to support these products was version 8.7.1. The following are various playback software installation packages to be used with specific generations of these older recorders. After downloading the zipped file, extract it then run the setup.
ZIP PRO/EZ Playback (14 MB zip, Version 8.7.1 installation) This version is designed to support version 7.0 and above although it may be used with older PRO, PRO-L, or EZ recorders. Caution: Version 8 installation is not compatable with 64-bit Windows OS.
ZIP Dual Install (PRO/PRO-Command) Playback (41 MB zip, versions 9.3.1 and 8.7.1 dual installation - More About Dual Install). Note: The installer will install Playback Version 8.7.1 which supports all PRO, EZ, and MAX models version 8.x and earlier; Playback Version 9.3.1 supports PRO-Command (Version 9.0 to 9.3) recorders only. Caution: Version 8 installation is not compatable with 64-bit Windows OS.
ZIP IVPlay Version 6.2.5 (2.1M zip) This version is for users with Version 6.2.5 recorders only.
ZIP IVPlay Version 6.1 (2.1M zip) This version is for users with Version 6 or earlier recorders. The unzip password is ivdemo.

PRO Recorder Version 8.7 & Version 8.1.1 Software Updates

WARNING: DO NOT ATTEMPT TO UPDATE ANY VERSION 7.x OR EARLIER PRO DVR TO VERSION 8.7. THIS WILL CAUSE YOUR VERSION 7.x OR EARLIER DVR TO FAIL.

Update versions 8.0 through 8.6 to Version 8.7 before updating to Version 8.7.1. This is necessary because the Version 8.7.1 update only includes essential application updates from Version 8.7.

If your PRO DVR currently has Version 8.0 to 8.6 you may update your DVR to version 8.7 as follows:
   1. ZIP Download the update file (21 MB) to your PC.
   2. Connect via IVPlay and use the "Remote Update" feature to upload this file to your Version 8.0 to 8.6 DVR (refer to the help system in your ivplay8 software for details on using remote update). Alternate procedure: copy this zip file to a CD, insert the CD into your DVR and reboot your DVR.
   3. Download and install the Version 8.7 playback (above) software to fully support the new features when you connect remotely.

If your PRO DVR currently has Version 8.7 you may update your DVR to version 8.7.1 as follows (Update from Version 8.7 to Version 8.7.1 is definitely needed if you have an IVQ4 data hub):
   1. ZIP Download the update file (3.2 MB) to your PC.
   2. Connect via IVPlay and use the "Remote Update" feature to upload this file to your Version 8.7 DVR (refer to the help system in your ivplay8 software for details on using remote update). Alternate procedure: copy this zip file to a CD, insert the CD into your DVR and reboot your DVR.

About Version 8.7: This recording software update adds support for the new Daylight Savings Time schedule in the USA effective in 2007. Version 8.7 also adds a POS overlay feature for playback and the VGA monitor mode.
